By accessing or using the Celebrants.ca Web site, you agree to the terms of the Online Privacy Policy, as outlined below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use this site. We reserve the right to change the Online Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. Your use of this Site will be subject to the most current version of the Online Privacy Policy at the time of such use.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

When you engage in certain activities on this site, such as filling in the book online forms or ordering products we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, we may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including postal code), e-mail address, job title, telephone and fax numbers, and other personal identifying information. When ordering products or services on the site, you may be asked to provide a credit card number. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.

Celebrants.ca may share aggregate information about our Web site users with advertisers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties. For example, we will say Celebrants.ca audience is x percent female and y percent male. Information provided at the time of Product Purchase, Product Registration or submission of Contact or Support forms may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by Celebrants.ca, our affiliates, resellers or companies associated with Celebrants.ca. To keep you in control of your personal information and the communications directed to you, we allow you to opt out of the following services: sharing your information in our client list, receiving communications from Celebrants.ca about new features, products, services and/or specials. If a site visitor objects to such use for any reason, he or she may stop that use by e-mail request to support@anewparadigm.org. Information provided when purchasing products from any of our online stores may be used for marketing and promotional purposes and is subject to the opt-out processes described on, or linked to, each form.

Celebrating New Life Privacy Code:

The Celebrants.ca Privacy Code is a formal statement of the principles and guidelines concerning the requirements for the protection of personal information provided to Celebrants.ca by its customers and employees. Celebrants.ca strives to provide its customers with the best service possible. This means handling your personal information fairly and honestly.

The purpose of the Celebrants.ca Code is to provide transparent practices in its management of personal information in keeping with applicable Canadian legislation. It tells you how we protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information.

Personal Information is any piece of information, either factual or subjective, about an identifiable individual. Personal Information does not include the name, title, business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.

The following principles, developed by the Canadian Standards Association, form the basis of Celebrants.ca's fair information practices and outline Celebrants.ca's commitment to protecting your privacy.

Every Celebrants.ca associate is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all information to which they have access. Our associates are informed about the importance of privacy and receive ongoing updates on privacy related policies.

In addition to establishing the Privacy Code, we have appointed a Chief Privacy Officer who is responsible for overseeing the personal information handling practices at Celebrants.ca and ensuring we are in compliance with our Privacy Code and related policies.

When we need to collect personal information from you, we will identify the purpose for the collection at or before the time we collect it.
